Hamyungju, Chairman of Hana Financial Group, Participates in Energy Saving Campaign 'Cool Korea Challenge'
Ham Young-joo, Chairman of Hana Financial Group, participated in the 'Cool Korea Challenge' campaign, which aims to save cooling energy by wearing simple summer attire.
According to Hana Financial on the 2nd, Chairman Ham, after being nominated by Kolon Vice Chairman Ahn Byung-duk on the 8th of last month, wore a 'Cool Biz look' with employees at the Myeongdong headquarters and shared the importance of energy saving with executives and staff. The Cool Korea Challenge is a relay event involving leaders from various sectors, conducted as part of a national energy-saving campaign by Fashion Group Hyungji and the Korea Energy Agency.
Hana Financial plans to actively promote the campaign by sharing certification photos and posts on official social media (SNS) so that not only employees but all citizens can practice energy saving together. Since August 2021, Hana Bank has been practicing corporate culture innovation and energy saving through flexible work attire, and other group affiliates also encourage wearing 'Cool Biz looks' during the summer.

Chairman Ham stated, "I hope this challenge will actively spread a culture of participating in energy saving by wearing simple clothing," adding, "Through this, Hana Financial will contribute to lowering the increasingly rising global temperature." He recommended Park Jong-bok, CEO of SC First Bank, and Yoon Hong-geun, Chairman of Genesis BBQ, as the next participants in the relay.
