Yeongcheon-si Provides Up to 200,000 KRW Monthly Rent Support for Low-Income Young Adults Without Housing
Yeongcheon City (Mayor Choi Gi-moon) is recruiting participants for the '2023 Youth Monthly Rent Temporary Special Support Project' until August 21 this year to alleviate the housing cost burden on young people.
Youth without housing who meet income and property requirements can receive support of up to 200,000 KRW per month for 12 months within the range of the actual rent paid.
The project targets youth aged 19 to 34 with an address in Yeongcheon City who live separately from their parents in housing with a lease deposit of 50 million KRW or less and monthly rent of 600,000 KRW or less. Even if the monthly rent exceeds 600,000 KRW, those whose sum of the monthly rent and the monthly converted amount of the deposit (conversion rate 2.5%) is 700,000 KRW or less are also eligible for support.
Additionally, the youth's household income must be 60% or less of the median income standard, and the original household income including parents must be 100% or less of the median income standard. For detailed information, please refer to the notice section on the Yeongcheon City website.
Applicants should prepare the application documents and apply online or visit the administrative welfare center in charge of their address in person. The application period is until August 21.
