Shinsegae Department Store Sells Tea Commemorating British Coronation Ceremony
Car Sales Increased by 17% from January to May This Year
Shinsegae Department Store announced on the 25th that it will sell the Coronation Collection from the British premium tea brand Fortnum & Mason starting on the 26th.
This collection was released to commemorate the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla of the United Kingdom, and consists of over 40 products including tea, biscuits, champagne, and eco bags.
Among the Coronation Collection, Darjeeling tea and eco bags will be introduced in Korea for the first time. The Darjeeling tea uses leaves that have grown slowly while enduring the cold at the foothills of the Himalayas, offering a richer and deeper flavor. The Coronation Bag for Life is made eco-friendly by using plastic-free recycled cotton and vegan dyes.
According to Shinsegae Department Store, tea sales from January to May this year increased by 17% compared to the same period last year. It is analyzed that people of all ages, from their 20s to 50s, regardless of gender, are enjoying tea.
