Kyungdong Navien Obtains Green Product Certification for 'Navien Condensing ON AI'
Application of Hot Water Preheating System
Reducing the Amount of Wasted Water
Kyungdong Navien announced on the 23rd that it has obtained the Green Product Certification for the 'Navien Condensing ON AI' equipped with a hot water preheating system. The 'Green Product Certification,' certified by the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, is awarded to products that reduce energy consumption and minimize the generation of greenhouse gases and pollutants. Kyungdong Navien acquired the 'Green Technology' certification for the hot water preheating system in February this year, and subsequently, the 'Navien Condensing ON AI' equipped with this system received the Green Product Certification.
The Navien Condensing ON AI reduces the amount of wasted water by supplying hot water quickly. It is recognized as an eco-friendly product by suppressing the generation of air pollutants through high energy efficiency. This product can supply hot water within 10 seconds, which is 93% faster than conventional boilers, by rapidly preheating the water inside the hot water piping with a circulation valve. For each use of hot water, it saves approximately 13.7 liters of water that would have been wasted while waiting for the water to reach the desired temperature. This amounts to about 20 tons annually for a family of four.
Additionally, based on a flow sensor, it detects hot water usage in real-time and supplies the necessary amount of water using a turbo pump. This reduces the amount of gas consumed, contributing not only to heating cost savings but also to improving air quality. The eco-friendliness unique to condensing boilers is also outstanding. When using a condensing boiler, nitrogen oxide, a major cause of air pollution, can be reduced by approximately 79% annually, and carbon dioxide emissions can be decreased by up to 576 kg.
