Dongwon Industries Sells 200KG Extra-Large North Atlantic Bluefin Tuna
Dongwon Industries announced on the 23rd that it will sell a 200kg extra-large North Atlantic bluefin tuna at Hyundai Department Store's main branch and Sinchon branch until the 25th.
The North Atlantic bluefin tuna grows in low water temperatures around 10℃, resulting in a thick fat layer and firm flesh, making it highly valued as a premium sashimi ingredient. It is extremely rare, accounting for less than 1% of the total tuna catch, and is priced about 4 to 5 times higher than regular sashimi-grade tuna.
Through this event, Dongwon Industries offers the North Atlantic bluefin tuna at a discount of up to 30%. The event runs until the 25th at Hyundai Department Store's main and Sinchon branches, and from the 7th to the 9th of next month at the Trade Center branch, where an extra-large tuna cutting show will also be held on-site.
