Gyeonggi-do Recruiting 30 Semiconductor Technology Trainees Until July 7
Gyeonggi Province and the Korea Nano Technology Institute are recruiting about 30 semiconductor technology trainees from third-year students at specialized high schools in the province until the 7th of next month.
On the 21st, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will select technical personnel to work in semiconductor-related small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies as part of the "Nano Technology Workforce Development Project," led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and supported by the province.
Since 2013 until last year, Gyeonggi Province has produced more than 600 semiconductor technology personnel. Over 90% of them have been employed by related SMEs and mid-sized companies.
The trainees will receive education and design practice training on nano and semiconductor process technologies in general for about 16 weeks, totaling 500 hours.
Graduates of the training will receive support to find employment at semiconductor manufacturers and semiconductor post-process (OSAT) companies participating in the project.
The training is completely free of charge, and trainees will be provided with actual expenses for education. Outstanding students will be awarded the Gyeonggi Province Governor’s Commendation and the Korea Nano Technology Institute Director’s Award.
Application documents can be downloaded from the Korea Nano Technology Institute website and submitted via email.
