The 5th District Mayor's Cup Hapkido Competition ... Mapo-gu Community Sports Center Filled with Shouts of Spirit
Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) announced that the 5th Mapo District Mayor's Cup Hapkido Competition was held on the 17th at the Mapo-gu Community Sports Center.
Co-hosted by Mapo-gu, the Mapo-gu Sports Council, and the Mapo-gu Hapkido Association, this event served as an opportunity to promote health and harmony among local Hapkido enthusiasts. A total of about 250 people, including Mayor Park Gang-su, Lee Seung-ho, president of the Mapo-gu Hapkido Association, and participating athletes, attended to brighten the competition.
The competition proceeded until 2 p.m. in the following order: ▲ Hapkido individual events (weapon techniques) and team events ▲ Commendations for meritorious persons ▲ Oath by athlete representatives ▲ Martial arts demonstrations ▲ Individual events (falling techniques, kicking).
