Applications are open to any Jeongeup citizens who wish to sell Gujeolcho products that they directly produce or process, or agricultural specialty products produced in Jeongeup.
However, if an individual wishes to operate a restaurant, they must obtain consent from the majority of the village household heads and must operate the business themselves.
The selection evaluation will be held over two days starting from the 5th of next month at the Sannae-myeon Comprehensive Gymnasium. During this period, final participants will be selected through food (product) tastings and on-site interviews.
After selecting participants, the city plans to hold a meeting with them to decide on prices in order to offer food to festival visitors at reasonable prices.
Detailed information can be found in the recruitment announcement on the Jeongeup City website.
A city official said, "We will prepare to provide visitors to the Gujeolcho Flower Festival with a deep autumn landscape and wonderful memories."
