Kumho Petrochemical Completes Advancement of 'ESG' Information Management
Kumho Petrochemical announced on the 15th that it has established an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) information system to advance its internal ESG management processes.
Under the goal of systematically managing ESG data and providing accurate information to stakeholders, the company has been conducting an ESG information system construction project with SK C&C since the end of last year.
The ESG information system is a system that collects ESG data from all business sites and effectively measures and manages the performance of ESG goal implementation. The indicators managed by the system consist of more than 1,000 items, enabling detailed data management.
Kumho Petrochemical plans to enhance connectivity between the ESG information system and existing internal systems such as accounting, human resources, and safety and environment, and to explore ways to apply it to all group affiliates in the future.

A Kumho Petrochemical official stated, "The internal processes for ESG management will be advanced to the next level," adding, "We expect to provide stakeholders with more accurate and comprehensive ESG information from the perspective of ESG communication."
