Gmarket Launches 'Go Green Campaign' for Green Consumption Week
Ongoing Until the 28th
Gmarket announced on the 15th that it will conduct the 'Go Green Campaign' to promote eco-friendly consumption in celebration of Green Consumption Week in June.
The Go Green Campaign is part of the 'Gaplejiu Campaign' that Gmarket has been participating in since last year. Gaplejiu stands for "Gajyeowayo Plastic Jikyeogayo Uribada," which translates to "Bring Back Plastic, Protect Our Sea." It is an eco-friendly coalition led by Emart that started in 2018. The coalition expands its participating companies and organizations, including NGOs and government agencies, every year and carries out various activities to protect the environment, such as reducing plastic usage.
Through this event, Gmarket introduces various green consumption products that can be practiced in daily life. Gmarket's MD has carefully selected a 'Special Deal to Protect the Earth.' The daily changing special deal items include eco-packaged beverages, eco-friendly water filters, and eco-friendly detergents. An environmentally conscious brand section is also introduced. Products such as 3M's corn scrubbers and biodegradable cleaning wipes are sold at a discount, and a '3M 10% Discount Coupon' is provided for purchases over 10,000 KRW, offering up to 10,000 KRW off. In addition, various other eco-friendly brands can be found. The event period lasts until the 28th.
