Pyeongtaek Port Authority Holds 'Pyeongtaek Port Briefing' for Hwaseong Area Businesspeople

View original imageOn the 14th, the Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority held a briefing session on Pyeongtaek Port at the Pyeongtaek Port Promotion Center, inviting member companies of the Hwaseong-si Jangan Entrepreneurs Association and others.
At the briefing session, 38 representatives from 37 companies, including entrepreneurs based in Jangan, Hwaseong-si, and the Hwaseong Chamber of Commerce, attended.
During the session, the Pyeongtaek Port Authority promoted corporate support services such as the Global Jump-up Incentive for small and medium export companies. There was also an explanation about reducing export logistics costs and support for difficulties when using Pyeongtaek Port.
The attending companies listened to explanations about the port competitiveness of Pyeongtaek Port and various support policies to attract cargo volume, then toured Pyeongtaek Port by boarding the port guide boat.
In particular, the companies showed great interest in the 'Global Jump-up Incentive Policy,' which is being promoted as a way to reduce export logistics costs and strengthen corporate competitiveness.
Kim Seok-gu, President of the Pyeongtaek Port Authority, promised, "We will spare no support and effort so that the geographical proximity of Pyeongtaek Port and corporate support policies harmonize well, enabling companies to reduce logistics costs and Pyeongtaek Port to create new cargo volume, resulting in a mutually beneficial outcome."
