Uljin-gun to Host Good Morning Thursday Special Lecture in June
The Good Morning Thursday Special Lectures in Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk, will continue in June. Since starting in March, the Good Morning Thursday Special Lectures have been held a total of seven times until May, inviting experts in agriculture, tourism, and urban planning to give lectures, and have been progressing with strong support from the residents each time.
Two special lectures are prepared for June's Good Morning Thursday Special Lectures. On June 15, Kim Jaeheum, Director of the National Civil Defense Disaster Safety Education Institute, will give a lecture titled "Understanding the National Disaster Management System and Major Policies," and on June 22, Kim Gwanhun, CEO of the Tteokbokki franchise Dookki, will deliver a lecture under the theme "Have You Ever Written Your Stories?"
Additionally, in July, two beneficial topics are scheduled, including a lecture related to the "Nuclear Hydrogen National Industrial Complex," and any Uljin-gun resident can attend the special lectures on the day without prior registration.
Son Byeongbok, the county governor, stated, "The Thursday Special Lectures do not only cover academic content related to the topics but also connect the themes to broader social issues, helping us realize aspects we had not previously considered," and added, "We ask for the residents' great interest and participation."
