Yeonggwang-gun, Recruiting 'Summer College Student Part-time Jobs' Until the 16th
Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kang Jong-man) announced on the 12th that it will recruit summer part-time university students from the 13th to the 16th, 2023.
Applications are open to currently enrolled or on-leave university students who have their resident registration in the county as of the announcement date.
However, students from the Korea National Open University, cyber universities, credit bank education institutions, and those who have participated even once in the university student part-time job program conducted by Yeonggwang-gun (including those who dropped out midway) are excluded.
Among the 30 recruits, 15 will be given priority selection to vulnerable groups such as basic livelihood security recipients, lower-income classes, and persons with disabilities, while the remaining 15 general candidates will be finalized through a public lottery on the 23rd.
University students wishing to participate can check the announcement on the county website under the notices section and submit their applications by visiting or mailing to the Yeonggwang-gun Job Support Center on the first floor of the county office annex.
Selected students will work for 4 weeks from the 3rd to the 28th of next month, 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, supporting administrative and field tasks at the county office departments and townships.
A county official said, “We hope that the university student part-time job activities will serve as an opportunity to strengthen employment capabilities and foster economic independence.”
