Yongsan-gu (District Mayor Park Hee-young) is operating a ‘Summer Vacation University Student Part-time Job’ program for local university students.
The period is from July 3 to 28, 2023. The working hours are weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will work as administrative support staff at the district office, community service centers, health centers, and other locations.
The principle is 5 days a week, with a daily wage of 55,785 KRW, and those who work full 20 days can earn about 1.34 million KRW (including paid leave allowance).
As of the announcement date (June 5), anyone registered as a resident in Yongsan-gu and enrolled in a university under the Higher Education Act (including students on leave) can apply. Those who lived in Yongsan with their parents but moved their address elsewhere due to studies are exceptionally allowed to participate.
The total number of recruits is 36. Among them, 13 will be specially selected from groups including recipients of basic national livelihood security, low-income families, national merit recipients and their children, multicultural families, families with three or more children, persons with disabilities, and North Korean defectors and their children.
The application period is from June 12 to 16. Applications can be submitted through the district website. Candidates will be randomly selected through an electronic public lottery, and the results will be announced on the 20th of the same month.
