Fire at Incheon Airport KAL Lounge... Over 160 Evacuated
At around 6:42 PM on the 11th, a fire broke out at the KAL lounge on the east side of Terminal 2 at Incheon International Airport in Jung-gu, Incheon.
The fire occurred near a deep fryer in the lounge kitchen and was extinguished by around 7 PM, 18 minutes later. Due to the fire, six airport security personnel inhaled smoke and were transported to the hospital.
According to Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC), about 150 passengers and 10 staff members present in the lounge at the time evacuated.

Korean Air, which operates the lounge, and the corporation are investigating the exact cause of the fire with the fire authorities.
