Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam is fully prepared for heavy summer rains to protect the lives and property of its residents.
According to Sancheong-gun on the 9th, test operations and comprehensive inspections were conducted on 11 drainage pumping stations.
To prevent flood damage caused by heavy rains, typhoons, and other abnormal weather events, this inspection included on-site checks of disaster preparedness facilities such as drainage pumping stations, sluice gates, stormwater detention facilities, and retention basins, along with test operations of the drainage pumping stations.
Sancheong-gun is conducting thorough inspections of drainage pump stations in preparation for heavy summer rains.

In particular, joint inspections were carried out with specialized mechanical and electrical equipment companies to check the pump operation status, distribution panels, screens, and grit chambers. Safety education and operational training were also provided for the staff working at the drainage pumping stations.
Sancheong-gun plans to establish maintenance plans for the issues identified during this inspection and complete repairs and reinforcements before the rainy season to ensure smooth operation during the season.
