Busan Office of Education Opens Industry Job Training for Vocational High School Specialized Subject Teachers
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education is operating a 'Small Group Industry Job Training' program to enhance the expertise of vocational high school specialized subject teachers.
Since 2010, this training program has been the first among metropolitan and provincial offices of education nationwide, aimed at improving the practical skills and expertise of teachers in specialized fields.
During the training, teachers visit industries directly and complete specialized subject courses that are difficult to establish at training institutions, as well as small-scale training courses applied for by fewer than 10 teachers.
A total of 258 teachers from 25 schools participate in the training, which consists of 48 courses including shared hydraulic/automation design using V-AMT.
The training is conducted in collaboration with specialized industries from the 8th of this month until the end of August, approximately three months, and is scheduled during vacations and weekends to avoid disrupting teachers' classes.
