Hyundai Engineering to Supply 'Angsana Residence Yeouido Seoul' on Yeouidaero Buzzing with Development Prospects
- Plans to invest 59.3 billion KRW to develop a financial hub aiming to enter the world's top 5 financial journals
- Announcement of plans to build the 2nd Sejong Cultural Center with 2,400 seats in Yeouido Park
Investors are showing keen interest in ‘Angsana Residence Yeouido Seoul,’ the premium brand of the global hotel group Banyan Tree, which is being established along Yeouidaero Line in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
Yeouidaero, where the project site is located, is a key line in Yeouido lined with skyscrapers such as LG Twin Towers, Park One, Yeouido International Finance Center (IFC), and Federation of Korean Industries Building, housing domestic and international financial institutions and multinational corporations.
Above all, Yeouido’s future value is high due to significant development prospects. In March, Seoul City approved the ‘Yeouido Financial Special Development Promotion District Promotion Plan’ submitted by Yeongdeungpo-gu. Under the vision of ‘Digital International Financial Hub Yeouido,’ the plan aims to enter the top 5 worldwide in fintech and international financial indices by investing a total of KRW 59.357 billion over five years from this year to 2027. The plan includes establishing a Digital Finance Support Center, fostering fintech companies, strengthening branding and promotion of the financial hub, and activating financial education.
Additionally, to foster the international financial hub, Seoul City plans to restructure Yeouido Park from a simple neighborhood park into a world-class urban cultural park like Chicago’s Millennium Park and New York’s Brighton Park. A second Sejong Cultural Center with 2,400 seats, a waterfront landmark within the park, will also be constructed. Furthermore, pilot projects following Seoul City’s rapid integrated planning, including Saebeom, Hanyang, Sambu, Daegyo, and Gwangjang Apartments, are accelerating reconstruction, ensuring solid demand and expected future value appreciation.
‘Angsana Residence Yeouido Seoul’ will be located in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, and constructed by Hyundai Engineering. The project is implemented by Maston No. 51 Yeouido PFB.
Comprising six basement floors to 57 above-ground floors, the complex will include residences, office facilities, and neighborhood living facilities. Among them, the ‘Angsana Residence Yeouido Seoul’ residences will have exclusive areas ranging from 40 to 103 square meters, totaling 348 units.
Standing at a maximum height of 249.9 meters, it will be the sixth tallest building in Seoul. Upon completion in 2026 (planned), ‘Angsana Residence Yeouido Seoul’ is expected to diversify Yeouido’s skyline alongside nearby Park One and IFC.
Being a supertall building, each unit will enjoy unique views of Yeouido Park’s tranquility, the Han River’s freshness, and the city’s vibrancy. Additionally, a rooftop infinity pool approximately 22 meters long will offer panoramic views from Yeouido Park to the Han River, allowing residents to swim high above Seoul’s city center.
Hyundai Engineering’s ‘Angsana Residence Yeouido Seoul’ will also offer professional concierge services. These include VVIP secretary services providing customized assistance via phone and platform, premium total home care services called Home Butler, and breakfast services for residents. Other hotel-style services such as valet parking, catering, limousine service, and premium rentals will be available, along with community facilities like a spa and golf practice range in the basement level 1 fitness center.
Moreover, living services such as car wash, laundry, premium item storage, and group market purchases will be integrated into a dedicated app platform for residents to manage membership registration, service requests, and payments. A private safe deposit box for personal valuables will be available on the third floor, and a concierge desk on basement level 2 will actively address residents’ inconveniences and inquiries.
‘Angsana Residence Yeouido Seoul’ plans to provide some key concierge services free of charge for one year after the move-in date to maximize residents’ convenience. Furniture and home appliances (some items) will be provided free of charge to contract holders for each unit.
The shared lobby on the third floor features an atrium (central hall) design to enhance openness and scale, with a 25-meter-high media wall on one side adding luxury and showcasing grand and diverse media art exhibitions.
Close proximity to IFC Mall, Hyundai Department Store The Hyundai Seoul, Yeouido Park, Saetgang Ecological Park, and Hangang Citizen’s Park will allow residents to enjoy business, relaxation, and shopping nearby. Access to various road networks such as Olympic-daero, Gangbyeonbuk-ro, Seobu Expressway, and Mapo Bridge is also convenient.
