Boseong Yulpo Beach Busy Preparing to Welcome Visitors

Opening of Yulpo Solbat Beach on July 8

Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that Yulpo Pine Forest Beach will open from July 8.

In preparation for the beach opening, Boseong-gun is making thorough preparations such as maintaining convenience facilities and inspecting safety equipment.

The beach opening period is from July 8 to August 27.

Yulpo Pine Forest Beach offers clear breezes, pine forests, and silver sands, and is loved by many vacationers as a sea destination close to Gwangju Metropolitan City.

Near the beach, there are various attractions such as Yulpo Sea Green Tea Center, Hoecheon Seafood Wholesale Market, Boseong Bibong Dinosaur Park, Bibong Marina, and Sea Fishing Park.

Also, it is easy to access tourist spots such as the representative Boseong tea fields, Botjae, and the Korea Tea Museum.

In particular, the Yulpo Sea Green Tea Center, directly operated by Boseong-gun, offers an open-air bath with a sea view from the third floor and facilities such as aquatonic and playrooms.

Additionally, it operates a bathhouse using clean bedrock seawater drawn from 120 meters underground and green tea, allowing visitors to enjoy bathing right after outdoor water play, making it a popular spot for families. Various busking performances are also prepared.

A county official said, “Yulpo Pine Forest Beach does not charge admission or parking fees, and camping is freely available, so many people visit regardless of the season,” adding, “We will do our best to maintain safety and cleanliness at the vacation spot through operating a comprehensive safety management situation room, frequent facility inspections, and quarantine activities for a pleasant resort.”
