Suwon City was selected as an excellent institution in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's 'Public Data Provision Operation Performance Evaluation'.
View original imageSuwon City in Gyeonggi Province has been selected as an 'Excellent Institution' in both the 'Public Data Provision Operation Status Evaluation' and the 'Data-Based Administration Status Inspection and Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, receiving a total of 80 million KRW in financial incentives.
Suwon City has achieved the distinction of being an excellent institution in the 'Public Data Provision Operation Status Evaluation' for four consecutive years since 2019.
Previously, since 2018, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety has annually evaluated 570 institutions nationwide, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions, on the management system, development, utilization, and quality of public data, selecting excellent institutions and awarding the top 24 institutions with a financial incentive of 40 million KRW.
Suwon City was also selected as an excellent institution for two consecutive years in the 'Data-Based Administration Status Inspection and Evaluation' which started in 2021.
Suwon City operates the 'Big Data Portal,' analyzing and visualizing various public data it holds and providing this information to citizens, thereby promoting data-based administration.
