Gyeongnam Nonghyup announced on the 5th that Donggoseong Nonghyup member Lee Sehun and Haman Livestock Nonghyup member Park Jinsu have been selected as recipients of the ‘Together Young Farmer of the Year Award’ presented by the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation.
Lee Sehun, a member of Donggoseong Nonghyup, is a sixth-year successor farmer who returned to farming. By combining his father's farming experience with his own expertise, he has made significant contributions to producing high-quality agricultural products such as paprika and rice cultivation, thereby increasing farm income.
In 2022, he graduated at the top of the 7th class of the Young Farmer Officer School, organized by the Startup Farmer Support Center of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation. He actively participates in voluntary community service through local organizations such as the youth association, autonomous crime prevention squad, and sports council.
He was recognized for leading farming activities by acquiring advanced farming techniques through field trips to paprika farms and sharing them with members of the crop group, setting an exemplary model for others, and was selected as the Young Farmer of the Year.
Park Jinsu, a member of Haman Livestock Nonghyup, focuses on Hanwoo cattle breeding and facility greenhouses, consistently managing feeding to improve quality and increase production. To produce premium meat and raise superior Hanwoo cattle, he introduced a self-mixing facility system and strives for efficient livestock management.
