The city plans to give preferential selection to influential figures with significant reach such as travel writers, YouTubers, and power bloggers, while assigning SNS promotional tasks to promote Gwangyang tourism branding.
Additionally, through satisfaction surveys, the city will monitor inconveniences and improvement points at tourist sites and strengthen feedback to maximize the effectiveness of the project.
Jung Gu-young, head of the Tourism Division, said, "True travel is not just a brief passing but staying and living like a local," adding, "We hope for the interest and participation of influential figures who can widely promote Gwangyang's unique charm, including its beautiful nature and abundant food."
He continued, "Through the 'Traveling for a Month in Gwangyang' project, we expect to actively promote the hidden charms of Gwangyang travel, which shines both day and night, attract tourists, and revitalize the local economy."
