Geumcheon-gu Public Recruitment of Members for the 'Smart City Policy Advisory Committee'
Advisory Role in Deliberation and Coordination of Policy Tasks Necessary for Realizing an Intelligent City in Geumcheon-gu
Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that it will publicly recruit members for the ‘Smart City Policy Advisory Committee’ from June 5 to 22.
The recruitment fields include ▲Intelligent City (Smart City) ▲Internet of Things (IoT) Platform/Services ▲Big Data ▲Artificial Intelligence (AI) ▲Electronic Billboards (Digital Signage) ▲Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (XR) Technologies ▲Extended Virtual Worlds (Metaverse), among others.
They are seeking 12 private-sector members with extensive academic knowledge, experience, and activity records in each field.
The committee members will play a role in deliberating and advising on matters related to the development and proposal of intelligent city (smart city) policy agendas and the promotion of in-depth discussions.
Applicants can submit their application form, self-introduction letter, consent forms for personal information collection and activity, and documents proving their qualifications by visiting the Resident Safety Division at the district office, or by mail or email.

Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, stated, “We will appoint experts in each field and interested residents as committee members to ensure that the appropriateness, resident perceptibility, and technological feasibility of policy projects closely related to residents’ lives can be concretized.” He added, “We will do our best to realize policies that residents can realistically empathize with.”
