Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) held a 'GREEN Campaign' around Myeonmok Station Plaza on June 2nd in observance of World Environment Day (June 5th).
The campaign, held under the theme "The Only Earth," was organized to raise awareness of the seriousness of the climate crisis and promote environmental protection consciousness. Various programs were conducted, including ▲promoting eco-friendly habits such as reducing single-use plastic ▲distributing reusable shopping bags and tumbler eco-bags ▲craft-making experience activities using sock yarn.
Notably, the campaign was made more meaningful by the participation of the local 2050 Carbon Neutral Practice Living Jungnang Citizen Practice Group, composed of the Jungnang Housewives Environmental Volunteer Group, Jungnang Living Environment Practice Group, Central Environmental Monitoring Association Jungnang Branch, and National Environmental Protection Movement Jungnang Branch.
