Samsung Heavy Industries Secures Order for Two Crude Oil Tankers Worth 227.5 Billion KRW
Annual Order Target Achieved 28%
Samsung Heavy Industries announced on the 2nd that it has secured an order for two crude oil carriers from an Oceania region shipowner for a total of 227.5 billion KRW.
These vessels are scheduled to be delivered sequentially by February 2026.
Including this contract, Samsung Heavy Industries has secured orders worth 2.7 billion USD (approximately 3.5 trillion KRW) so far this year. The contracted vessels include a total of seven ships: four LNG carriers, two crude oil carriers, and one FLNG.
With this, Samsung Heavy Industries has achieved 28% of its annual order target of 9.5 billion USD.
