On the 2nd, Kwon Osang, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, visited Telcon RF Pharmaceutical located in Chungju, Chungbuk, to explore stable supply and support measures for pediatric antipyretics.

Telcon RF Pharmaceutical is a manufacturer of acetaminophen syrup. Deputy Director Kwon inspected the syrup production facilities and checked the production status and expansion plans of "Naerinda Syrup," sold by Kwangdong Pharmaceutical. Telcon RF Pharmaceutical announced that it plans to continuously increase the production of Naerinda Syrup to ensure a stable supply of pediatric antipyretics.
Along with the production increase, Deputy Director Kwon urged thorough manufacturing and quality control. He stated, "With the recent easing of COVID-19 quarantine measures, there has been a sharp increase in influenza and cold patients, causing instability in the supply of pediatric antipyretics. We will spare no effort and support to ensure that all citizens can purchase antipyretics without inconvenience."
