LS Sends University Student Volunteer Group to Vietnam After 3 Years
Recruitment of Participating University Students Until the 6th
LS Group has resumed the dispatch of the LS University Student Overseas Volunteer Corps, which was temporarily suspended due to COVID-19, after three years, continuing the global cultural exchange platform for future generations that has been ongoing for 17 years since 2007.
LS Group and the international development cooperation NGO KOFION announced on the 2nd that they are recruiting university students to participate in the 26th LS University Student Overseas Volunteer Corps until the 6th.
Members of the 24th LS University Student Overseas Volunteer Group are providing educational volunteer services to elementary school students in Dong Nai Province, Vietnam.

The participation costs are fully supported by LS Group, and any university student in South Korea can apply through the LS Group website regardless of their major.
The results of the first document screening will be announced on the 16th, and interviews will be held over two days from the 26th to the 27th, with approximately 50 final participants to be selected.
The volunteer dispatch will take place from August 1 to 12 this year, lasting about 10 nights and 12 days. The selected university students plan to engage in various activities centered on education and volunteer work, cultural exchange, and cultural exploration at elementary schools near Hanoi and Haiphong, Vietnam.

Meanwhile, in May this year, LS Group opened the LS Dream Center, an education and cultural space in Hanoi, Vietnam, to support employment and child education issues for women in families where Koreans and Vietnamese are married. During the dispatch period this summer, the 26th LS University Student Overseas Volunteer Corps will also participate in networking activities by meeting children from Korean-Vietnamese families at the LS Dream Center.
