Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) will hold a ‘Muan Beolnakji Street Visit Month Promotion Event’ at the 9th Muan Hwangto Mudflat Festival.
According to the county on the 2nd, the event will operate a promotional booth during the Muan Hwangto Mudflat Festival to promote the operation of Muan Beolnakji Street Visit Month, which will be held in October.
In particular, a lucky spin wheel prize event will be held for one hour each in the morning and afternoon, and food safety promotion will also be conducted to prevent food poisoning among residents and tourists.
Anyone can participate in the lucky spin wheel event, and prizes include △10,000 KRW discount coupons for use at Matdonamdo restaurants on Muan Beolnakji Street △5,000 KRW discount coupons for use at reasonably priced, exemplary, and safe restaurants along the coastline (Muan-eup, Hyeongyeong, Mangun, Haeje, Unnam-myeon) △5,000 KRW coupons usable at the local food hall and agricultural specialty product sales hall within the event venue △cooler bags, rubber gloves, sanitary bags, agricultural products, and other generous prizes.
A county official stated, “Muan Beolnakji Street was designated as a Namdo Food Street by Jeollanam-do in 2018 and has been developed into a clean environment with road maintenance, Beolnakji Street signboards, explanatory panels, and murals installed,” adding, “Since last year, various events such as operating Muan Beolnakji Street Visit Month in the months when Beolnakji is abundant have been held.”
