Development of Women-Specific Insurance... Hanwha Insurance Establishes 'Femtech Research Institute'
First in Domestic Financial Industry... Women's Research and Product Development
"We Will Become the Insurance Company That Knows Women Best"
Hanwha General Insurance has established a research organization to provide specialized insurance products tailored to women's life cycles.
Hanwha General Insurance announced on the 2nd that it has founded the 'Life Plus Femtech Research Institute.' Femtech is a compound word of Female and Technology, referring to technologies, products, and services aimed at improving the quality of life for women.
Hanwha General Insurance explained that it established the Femtech Research Institute as the first in the domestic financial industry to become "the insurance company that knows women best." The strategy is to go beyond existing financial products by conducting specialized research on women, developing products reflecting this research, and proposing lifestyle solutions.
To enhance the diversity and expertise of the research, an external advisory group was formed by recruiting experts from various fields, including medical professionals, university professors, and workers in finance and insurance-related institutions. Opinions from various age groups will also be gathered through internal organization operations centered on the MZ (Millennial + Z) generation and university-industry cooperation.
