Providing Agricultural Product Sales Channels, Healthy Food and Entertainment for Residents
Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that on June 3rd at 5 PM, it will open a direct transaction market for agricultural specialties with the unique theme of “Early Summer, Dessert Picnic” at Seosicheon Sports Park.
This event combines desserts and performances and is held through a collaboration between the agricultural specialties direct transaction market Nogodaljang, COMETRY Cultural Blacksmith, and YouTuber Ppalgang Lemon.
The Dessert Picnic is designed to allow visitors to taste desserts from various businesses such as Cafe Muuru, Bbangatgan, Gurunggogae, and Sagye Yanggaeng, and directly trade seasonal agricultural products harvested with hard work by young entrepreneurs and farmers.
Additionally, it is well organized with various experience workshops, a fruit market where visitors can find charming handmade crafts, and a children’s flea market prepared by Yongbangcho Village School.
At 7 PM on the same day, the ninth performance of “Made in Gurye Performance Boja,” featuring six singers and musicians including Bae Gwangmyeong and Kang Hanna, will take place, bringing new vitality to the early summer evening at Seosicheon Sports Park.
An event official said, “This market was prepared with the intention that sellers, residents, and tourists all enjoy it like a picnic,” and added, “We hope many people come without hesitation to taste fresh seasonal foods and fully enjoy the desserts and performances.”
