Intel Plans to Establish a Data Center Semiconductor Research Lab in Seoul
Global semiconductor company Intel is planning to establish a data center semiconductor research lab in Korea.
According to industry sources on the 31st, Intel recently announced at the 'Intel Vision 2023' event held in Taiwan that it plans to set up the 'Advanced Data Center Development Lab' in Seoul.
The lab is expected to begin operations as early as this year. This lab will work with memory partners to test the compatibility of Intel's data center central processing units (CPUs) and memory, and identify causes if any issues arise.
Intel plans to establish semiconductor research labs in six countries, including Korea, the United States, China, India, Taiwan, and Mexico.
