‘Choi Baek-ho Romantic Concert’ Held at Suncheon Ocheon Green Plaza
Over 4 Million Visitors at the Garden Expo, Romantic Garden Concert
Choi Baek-ho on the 2nd, Nam Sang-il, Park Gu-yoon, Kim San-ok Performing Joseon Pansori on the 3rd
Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Noh Gwan-gyu) announced that in addition to the excitement of surpassing 4 million visitors to the Suncheonman International Garden Expo, the "Romantic Garden Concert in Suncheon" will be held on June 2nd and 3rd at Ocheon Green Square, featuring famous performers and local art groups.
On the 2nd, the romantic singer Choi Baek-ho will present music that evokes memories of the 1980s with his unique vocal tone, along with a crossover performance by the local art group Donghwarak.
On the 3rd, Nam Sang-il, Kim San-ok, and the local art group Byeolnan will offer an exciting stage with pansori and fusion gugak, showcasing the joy of Joseon-era panpungnyu, while trot singer Park Gu-yoon will deliver an energetic performance.

The concert requires no separate tickets or admission passes; visitors can simply bring a mat or parasol and come to Ocheon Green Square.
This performance was planned after being selected for the "2023 Regional Culture and Arts Center Cultural Day Performance Walk Program Contest," hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
"Cultural Day" is designated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as the last Wednesday of every month, to make culture more accessible to all citizens in their daily lives. It was introduced to lower the barriers to cultural facilities and provide opportunities for everyone to enjoy a life enriched with culture.
A representative from the Suncheon City Culture and Arts Center said, "We hope that everyone visiting the Suncheonman International Garden Expo will immerse themselves in nostalgia with the romantic singer in the open green square and fully enjoy the excitement by participating in Joseon-era panpungnyu together."
