Ulleung-gun and Pohang Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office Collaborate to Address Current Issues
On the 24th, Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk Province held a Marine Fisheries Policy Council meeting attended by Kim Sang-gi, Director of the Pohang Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office, and others.
The Policy Council is held individually with local governments related to marine fisheries in the Gyeongbuk region (Pohang, Gyeongju, Yeongdeok, Uljin, Ulleung) at the Pohang Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office.

View original imageAt the meeting, explanations were given regarding the major ongoing projects and future plans within the jurisdiction of the Pohang Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office, and discussions were held on ways to mutually resolve significant issues focused on key projects promoted by Ulleung-gun, mainly on-site.
The main agenda items included efficient management of Ulleungdo port facilities and measures to alleviate passenger inconvenience, the construction of the third phase (cruise port) of Ulleung (Sadong) Port, changes to the Dodong Port breakwater extension project, maintenance work on Dokdo (Seodo), passenger convenience within Ulleung (Sadong) Port, and the construction of a complex logistics center, exchanging opinions on seven key issues.
