Promoting Growth Support for YouTube Creators
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 26th that it has agreed to mutually cooperate by establishing a 'Partnership for Creator Growth Support' with IBK Industrial Bank of Korea and Google Korea.
The partnership primarily involves each organization preparing support measures for domestic YouTube creators and cooperating with each other. The goal is to actively promote the activation of startups by outstanding creators and expand growth support to strengthen the competitiveness of the media content industry.

View original imageIn particular, Kibo and IBK Industrial Bank of Korea signed a separate business agreement and decided to support creators' financing through a guarantee agreement that supports the 'Creator Preferential Guarantee' product based on IBK's special contribution fund. Google will provide YouTube's open-source data for Kibo's technical evaluation of creator businesses and continue to offer necessary support.

Kim Jong-ho, Chairman of Kibo, said, "Kibo has actively supported content production by cultural content companies, and this partnership establishment and the agreement with IBK are also part of those efforts," adding, "Taking this agreement as an opportunity, we plan to strengthen our technical evaluation capabilities for creator businesses and support content production by outstanding domestic creators."
