[2023 Apartment Brand Awards] SH Corporation Enhances Residential Value with '100-Year High-Quality Apartments'
Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) has been honored with the High-Quality Design Award at the Asia Economy Apartment Brand Awards. SH Corporation boasts a complex exterior differentiated from other companies by applying designs and community spaces certified under Seoul City's Excellent Design Multi-family Housing program. In particular, they aim to build homes that can be lived in for over 100 years by using high-strength concrete that is up to 25% stronger than regular concrete.
This design philosophy of SH Corporation is expected to be fully reflected in the Goduk Gangil 3 Complex in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, which began pre-reservations in March. This complex, known as the "half-price apartment" due to its land lease-type sale housing, consists of a total of 1,305 households. Located adjacent to the Han River, the complex started construction this month, with the main subscription scheduled for 2026 and move-in planned for March 2027.
The complex boasts differentiated landscaping. It features various facades such as open balconies and provides upscale landscaping specialized spaces like garden-style rooftop gardens. Underground, community spaces are enhanced with a fitness center and sky caf?, sky library, and shared kitchen, all incorporating sunken spaces designed to induce natural light.

It applies system windows with excellent insulation and design, and uses elegantly designed long brick walls as exterior finishing materials. Inside, eco-friendly materials are used. Porcelain tile art walls and premium finishing materials such as engineered stone, which are typically offered as options in private apartments, are used to finish kitchen countertops and walls. Additionally, direct construction by the primary contractor is mandated for two construction types besides reinforced concrete work to strengthen safety management and quality control.
The surrounding infrastructure and transportation conditions of the complex are well established. Nearby are Misa Hangang Park and Goduk Ecological Park. Within a 300-meter radius of the complex are Gangbit Elementary and Middle Schools and an attached kindergarten, providing a safe educational environment. The proximity to major road networks such as Olympic-daero, Seoul Ring Expressway, Gangbyeonbuk-ro, and Seoul-Yangyang Expressway is also considered an advantage. Nearby subway stations include Gangil and Sangil-dong stations on Line 5. In the future, Subway Line 9 is planned to be extended from Jungang Veterans Hospital Station to the Goduk Gangil District.

The urban landscape is also excellent. Designated as a "Special Architectural Zone," this complex will establish a skyline harmonizing with the surrounding environment. Being located by the Han River, the maximum number of floors will vary from 7 to 29, and the building exteriors will move away from box-shaped uniform structures.
