Gwangju Buk-gu Conducts Drone Education Touring Elementary and Middle Schools
On the 25th, Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that it will operate a 'Visiting Drone Soccer Class' for elementary and middle school students.
This class was prepared to enhance youths' understanding of the drone industry through the new concept sport of drone soccer and to spread the culture of drone leisure sports.
Buk-gu plans to select 10 schools each in the first and second half of the year to operate the drone soccer class, with professional instructors visiting schools in June and September to provide drone education.
The education will be conducted in class units of about 20 students and will include basic theory lessons such as drone principles and regulations, as well as flight practice such as obstacle navigation using drones and 5:5 drone soccer mock matches.
Schools wishing to participate in the first half of the year can submit an application form via email by the 29th, and schools for the second half will be recruited separately in August.
