The Seoul Metropolitan Council announced on the 25th that it received a report on the 24th that Councilor Jeong Jin-sul became an independent councilor, departing from the Democratic Party of Korea.
Councilor Jeong was expelled from the Democratic Party of Korea Seoul Metropolitan Party last month.
