Gwangjin-gu Issues Additional 500 Million KRW of 'Gwangjin Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates' in Celebration of Residents' Day
Additional issuance on the 25th at 11 a.m... Up to 100,000 KRW per person available at a 15% discounted price
Issued to benefit more residents and help revitalize the local economy in commemoration of Gwangjin Residents' Day
Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) will issue additional 'Gwangjin Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates' to celebrate the 28th Residents' Day.
The district regularly issues Gwangjin Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates worth 200 million KRW monthly, but they often sell out early on the day of issuance. Therefore, to commemorate Gwangjin Residents' Day and allow more residents to benefit, an additional issuance worth 500 million KRW has been decided.
The 'Gwangjin Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates' will be issued on the 25th at 11 a.m. at a 15% discounted price. Each person can purchase up to 100,000 KRW per month, and the validity period is one year from the date of purchase. They can be purchased through the apps 'Seoul Pay+', 'Shinhan SOL', 'T-money Pay', and 'Money Tree'.
Launched to reduce the burden of high advertising fees and brokerage commissions from private delivery apps on small business owners, Gwangjin Ttaenggyeoyo currently has over 40,000 subscribers and more than 2,000 affiliated stores in the area, showing great effectiveness in revitalizing neighborhood commercial districts.
Recently, table order functions allowing customers to scan QR codes on store tables to order food, as well as takeout reservations and store reservation services, have been introduced. Affiliated stores save on kiosk installation costs for orders, and customers can use offline services in addition to existing delivery services, receiving enthusiastic responses from store owners and the main users, young people in their 20s and 30s.
News of the additional issuance, aside from the regular issuance of Gwangjin Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates, will be first disclosed to subscribers of the KakaoTalk 'Gwangjin-gu Office' channel.
