KB Securities Hosts Family Camping Event for Vulnerable Groups in Celebration of Family Month
KB Securities announced on the 22nd that it hosted the ‘Happy Ttukttak Kkebi Securities Green Camping’ event at Seoul Nanji Camping Site, inviting 23 multicultural low-income families in celebration of May, the month of family.
The ‘Happy Ttukttak Kkebi Securities Green Camping’ was successfully completed with great support from the participating families during the one-night, two-day event held from May 20th to 21st at Seoul Nanji Camping Site. KB Securities provided all supplies for the participating families, including tents, camping equipment, and abundant food, while the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Hangang Project Headquarters cooperated in securing the camping site and overall event management.
To create warm memories for the families during the month of family, KB Securities prepared various programs. These included a treasure hunt and campfire for the whole family to participate in, as well as recreational activities loved by children such as face painting and magic balloons. Additionally, based on a prior survey of the families’ preferences, photo frames containing family pictures and children’s backpacks were gifted to each family.
This ‘Happy Ttukttak Kkebi Securities Green Camping’ is the second camping event supporting vulnerable groups hosted by KB Securities at Seoul Nanji Camping Site, following the ‘Happy Green Camping’ held last September.
Last year, as part of its eco-friendly initiatives, KB Securities completed the ‘Green Growth Road’ by planting over 7,300 trees at Nanji Camping Site, and to commemorate this, invited 24 vulnerable families to participate in the ‘Happy Green Camping’ event. Going forward, KB Securities plans to continue various social contribution activities supporting environmental improvement in Seoul and families in vulnerable situations.
Park Jung-rim and Kim Sung-hyun, CEOs of KB Securities, stated, “In celebration of May, the month of family, we prepared an event where families can feel warmth,” and added, “We will continue diverse social contribution activities that strengthen the bonds within our society and community.”
