View original imagePepper Savings Bank has launched a savings product offering up to 6% annual interest along with CU convenience store discounts and rewards.
On the 22nd, Pepper Savings Bank announced the release of the "Peppers Partnership Savings with CU." The base interest rate is 5.5% per annum, with an additional 0.5% preferential rate provided upon consent for marketing use. It is a fixed installment savings plan allowing monthly deposits from 10,000 KRW to 300,000 KRW. The subscription period is 6 months.
CU discount coupons and point rewards are also provided. Upon subscription, a 3,000 KRW discount coupon for CU is given, and an additional 3,000 KRW discount coupon is provided upon maturity. If monthly deposits are made successfully, CU points equivalent to 1% interest per annum are also awarded. For example, if a monthly deposit of 300,000 KRW is made regularly, up to 5,250 points (875 points per month) can be accumulated over 6 months.
This product will be sold to the first 10,000 customers on a first-come, first-served basis from today until the 30th of next month. After receiving a savings subscription coupon code from CU’s official application, the "Pocket CU app," customers can subscribe through Pepper Savings Bank’s "Digital Pepper" app.
