Jungjinkong Supports Promising Startups' Global Expansion
Recruitment of Resident Companies at K-Startup Center
The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 21st that it is recruiting companies to move into the K-Startup Center (hereinafter referred to as KSC) to support the overseas expansion of promising domestic startups.
KSC is a platform for overseas expansion of startups established at global innovation hubs to support local investment attraction, integration into the startup ecosystem, and activation of inter-country startup exchanges for growth-stage startups with high potential for overseas expansion.
The recruitment locations are four places: the United States (Seattle), Singapore, France (Paris), and Vietnam (Hanoi). It provides office space where startups can stay for up to three years, as well as customized localization programs.
In particular, KSC Hanoi will open newly in July. Considering the concentration of global investment and expansion demand, it plans to support startups' successful entry into Southeast Asia through a public-private partnership with Lotte Ventures, a corporate venture capital (CVC).
