Hwasun-gun Recruits 70 Citizen Supporters for National Disabled Sports Festival
Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 19th that it is recruiting 70 citizen supporters for the successful hosting of the 104th National Sports Festival and the 43rd National Para Games.
The application period is until July 20th, and anyone aged 18 or older who is a resident of Hwasun-gun can apply at the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Center.
The selected citizen supporters will be active in Hwasun-gun for two months, from October to November, during the National Sports Festival and the National Para Games.
The citizen supporters will boost the morale of the athletes through enthusiastic cheering while watching the games and play a role in creating a festive atmosphere for the National Sports Festival through active promotional activities.
Benefits of supporter activities include recognition of volunteer hours (up to 4 hours per day) for members registered on the 1365 Volunteer Portal and the provision of promotional souvenirs.
The National Sports Festival will be held over 7 days from October 13 to October 19 at 65 venues in Jeollanam-do, including Mokpo Sports Complex, featuring 49 events (47 official, 2 demonstration).
The National Para Games will take place over 6 days from November 3 to November 8, with 31 events (29 official, 2 demonstration).
