Silla University Receives 'Excellent' Rating in Annual Evaluation of High School Education Contribution University Support Project
Shilla University has been selected as an ‘Excellent University’ in the annual evaluation of the ‘2023 University Support Project for Contribution to High School Education’ organized by the Ministry of Education.
Among the 91 universities targeted by this project, 17 nationwide, including Shilla University, received the ‘Excellent’ rating.
Shilla University achieved the distinction of being selected as an excellent university after evaluations in areas such as fairness and accountability in college admissions, strengthening information provision on admissions processes, student selection conditions, and linkage with high school education.
Shilla University will receive a budget of approximately 280 million KRW, including incentives for excellent universities.
Kim Ra-yeon, Director of Admissions at Shilla University, said, “We are pleased that the well-managed project at Shilla University has led to such a positive outcome,” adding, “We will strive to further alleviate the burden on applicants by activating high school linkage programs and expanding the provision of admissions information, as well as to enhance the fairness and professionalism of the admissions process.”

The University Support Project for Contribution to High School Education is a government initiative that provides financial support for three years to universities that design admissions processes reflecting high school curricula and strengthen evaluation capabilities to improve fairness in college admissions. After two years of support, a re-selection evaluation is conducted to decide on an additional one-year support.
