Unused small plots of land scattered throughout the urban area of Hampyeong-eup have been transformed into free parking lots for the convenience of residents.
On the 17th, the county announced that it has created free parking lots with about 30 spaces by utilizing underused small spaces in the urban area of Hampyeong-eup.
The newly established parking lots are located in two places: behind the Hampyeong Post Office and next to Gwangsin Motorcycle within the Hampyeong-eup downtown area.
The county expects that securing parking lots in the busy downtown area will somewhat ease the parking difficulties caused by heavy traffic.
