Attention Overseas Travelers... Gwangju Bank 'Global Travel' Card
Gwangju Bank announced on the 17th that it has launched a customized check card called 'Global Travel' for customers who frequently travel abroad and shop directly from overseas.
This product provides cashback for the overseas international brand fee (1% of the transaction amount in USD) and the overseas service fee (0.2% of the transaction amount in USD) that customers had to bear when using overseas merchants.
The overseas ATM withdrawal fee (up to $3 per transaction) is also covered.
Additionally, 0.2% cashback on domestic and overseas merchant usage amounts is paid to the payment account on the 10th of the following month.

Yoo Dong-gu, head of the card business division, said, “While demand for overseas travel has increased, we have minimized customers' fee burdens caused by the high exchange rate,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to develop card products that meet customer needs by quickly understanding rapidly changing consumption trends.”
