Gimhae City Family Photo Contest, What Is Your 'Choice'?
Online Citizen Voting on the City Website Until May 26
The online public voting for the 2023 Gyeongnam Gimhae-si Family Photo Contest entries will be held until the 26th.
According to the city, the contest was launched for the first time this year as part of Gimhae-si's population policy, with the aim of encouraging families to take photos and reflect once again on the meaning of family.
The city accepted public submissions throughout April and selected 20 entries out of 149 submissions through the first round of judging.
After this public voting, the final 12 award-winning works will be determined by combining the final judging scores and the public voting scores.
Citizens can view photos containing special family stories such as ▲the moment of first birth ▲chaotic dad childcare ▲three generations’ family trip ▲our family concert ▲a mother’s warm gaze at her child, and choose up to three works they like.
Voting can be done after identity verification through the survey section under citizen participation on the city’s website.
Points from a maximum of 30 to 12 will be awarded in order of the number of votes received, with the final judging accounting for 70% and the public voting score accounting for 30% of the total score.
The final award-winning works will be announced on the morning of June 12 on the city website’s public notice section.
The award-winning works will be displayed at various locations throughout the city, including libraries, from July to October through a “Relay Photo Exhibition,” and can also be viewed as an online family photo gallery video.
