Gwangju Dong-gu, 5·18 Human Rights Tourism 'Taxi Driver Running Again'
Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is launching a historical experience tourism program titled "2023, The Taxi Driver Runs Again," inspired by the concept of the movie "Taxi Driver."
Until the 13th of next month, various programs will be held at Jeonil Building 245 and the Open Yard area of the National Asian Culture Complex, including ▲a retro taxi photo zone ▲an exhibition of 1980s lifestyle and cultural items ▲a 5.18 historical site tour with taxi drivers.
On weekdays, the program operates from 2 PM to 6 PM, and on the 17th and 18th as well as weekends, from 10 AM to 6 PM.
The retro taxi experience costs 5,000 KRW per session, and to promote the local economy, participants will receive a coffee discount coupon for Dongmyeong-dong worth the same amount as the experience fee.
