Sunchang-gun Accelerates Urban Resident Attraction at Agriculture and Return-to-Farming Expo

On the 15th, Sunchang-gun, Jeonbuk announced that it participated in the 'K-Farm Agriculture and Returning to Farming and Rural Living Expo' held from the 11th to the 13th at the 2nd KINTEX in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang-si, to attract urban residents.

The K-Farm Expo, the largest agricultural exchange platform in the metropolitan area, allows visitors to explore returning to farming and rural living, agricultural machinery and materials, smart farms, agricultural trends, and information all at a glance.

It is an expo where visitors can check industries related to agricultural startups and returning to farming and rural living stages, including acquiring agricultural technology, consulting on purchasing agricultural machinery and materials, and later packaging and distribution stages, all in one place.

At this expo, the county's Returning to Farming and Rural Living Team, Sunchang-gun Returning to Farming and Rural Living Support Center, and Sunchang-gun Returning to Farming and Rural Living Council participated to provide prospective returnees with Sunchang's policies and customized consultations.

In particular, the 'Living in Sunchang for a Month' project, which offers an opportunity to experience rural life by living in Sunchang for a month in advance, traveling and experiencing local tourist attractions, was promoted intensively and received great interest from prospective returnees.

Visitors to the K-Farm Expo were also provided with information on successful cases of settling in Sunchang, understanding rural culture, and ways to overcome conflicts, which received a great response.

A county official said, "This expo was a great opportunity to promote many policies supported by Sunchang," adding, "We will continue to participate in many communication platforms to provide helpful information to prospective returnees and prepare various support measures to do our best in attracting population."
