This tournament, with participation from 50 teams nationwide and over 300 players and officials, will be divided into categories for the Chick division, Sprout division, 10-year-olds, and 12-year-olds. It is organized by the Korea Elementary Tennis Federation and the Dream Tree Tennis Foundation.
Established in 2021, the Dream Tree Tennis Foundation is highly regarded for significantly contributing to discovering tennis talents who will represent South Korea in the future by providing opportunities for young hopefuls to showcase and verify their skills honed through regular practice.
The county is finalizing preparations for the fourth nationwide tournament this year, the National Dream Tree Tennis Yeonggwang Tournament, following the Hyun Jung-hwa Cup Table Tennis Tournament held in March (3.18. ~ 3.19.), the 48th Association President’s National Middle and High School Basketball Tournament in April (4.4. ~ 4.13.), and the 52nd President’s National Fencing Championships (4.15. ~ 4.22.).
A county official stated, “We will provide customized services such as adjusting and maintaining the facilities at the venues to suit the eye level of children so that the young players visiting the county can perform well in their matches and ensure the smooth progress of the tournament.”
