Fake Pregnant Woman Hiding 1500g Cocaine in US
Cocaine Dropped During Escape Attempt
A group disguised as pregnant women transporting cocaine was caught by the police in the United States. They were caught after giving conflicting answers to the police's question, "When is your due date?"
According to local media such as WYFF on the 14th (local time), the Anderson County Sheriff's Office in South Carolina recently arrested Anthony Miller and Semeka Mikem on drug trafficking charges.
They were arrested by the police while passing through Interstate 85, which connects Montgomery, Alabama in the southeastern United States to Petersburg, Virginia in the east.
The police patrolling the road noticed Mikem's protruding belly inside the car and asked the two about their due date. However, Miller and Mikem gave conflicting answers, which aroused the police's suspicion.
Thinking the police were suspicious of them, the two got out of the car and tried to flee. However, during the escape, drugs fell from Mikem's belly, and they were caught by the police shortly after.
The Sheriff's Office revealed that Mikem was wearing a rubber 'fake belly' to pretend to be pregnant, hiding more than 1500g of cocaine inside it. Currently, the two are arrested on cocaine trafficking charges.
'Drug trafficker who disguised a 'cat' as a 'baby'
Earlier last month, there was also a case in Russia where a drug courier disguised a cat as a baby to pretend to be a mother.
In the video released at the time, when local police opened the zipper of a pink winter baby swaddle, instead of a baby, a gray cat appeared. The cat was wearing at least three layers of baby clothes, along with a baby hat, shoes, and a diaper.
Before taking out the cat, the police found a yellow film-wrapped package in the hood part of the swaddle. After fully removing the cat, they found more blue-wrapped packages in the foot part of the swaddle. The packages contained drugs secretly transported by the woman, a member of a drug organization.
